The purpose of  the FSC Foundation’s & Yerwood’s IMPACT Weekend (Invest in a Movement that Promotes Academics and Community involvement for our Teens) is to give the people of Stamford an opportunity to embrace activities that will stimulate their minds, bodies, and souls. During IMPACT Weekend, FSC (Friendship Supports Our Community) Foundation will bring together individuals from all walks of life who will be contributing to the well-being of our future leaders. FSC Foundation is focused on discovering and developing the leader within every child. By participating in any FSC event, guests can financially contribute to our mission to increase substantially the number of well-educated young people who are capable of assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in American society.

Anticipated participants include local human service, advocacy, and direct-action community organizing groups. Our last event, The 3^rd Annual New Year’s Eve Black Tie Gala, enabled local individuals and organizations working on issues such as community inclusiveness, poverty, hunger, and healthcare to meet and talk about these pressing social and economic challenges and create actions that can help eradicate these issues.

Representatives of each group will be available to provide information on their programs and services. Musical entertainment and speakers will be part of the program as well.

The primary goals of these events will be to raise awareness in our community and provide people with the knowledge and skills they need to lead healthy and productive lives as well as promote economic and political stability. We believe through domestic empowerment programs and leadership training we can inspire our young people to develop into socially conscious global citizens and become agents of change for their peers in the community. These two events will consists of our IMPACT Leadership Summit (Postponed until October) which will be held on Sunday from 12pm - 4pm and to conclude the day's festivities, we will all come together in celebration at our 3rd All White with a Purpose with live entertainment and music provided by Virginia's Own DJ Devastator.
